Can astrology predict death?
Astrology is a fascinating field that can tell us about our lives and futures – but does it have the power to predict death? In this post, we’ll explore the connection between astrology and death prediction, including some of the methods practitioners use in an attempt to foresee the future.
Is it possible to predict death with astrology?
It is possible to make predictions about death using astrology, though because of the complexity of an individual’s natal chart, it’s impossible to make a definite prediction about when someone will die. Astrologers look for significant planetary alignments in a person’s chart that can indicate that a life-altering event may occur in the near future. They can also provide insight into the way in which a person may approach death and handle their own mortality.
Death is an absolute reality and unavoidable, regardless of one’s age, wealth, or social status. In Mahabharatha, the Pandavas were greeted with death in the form of a Yaksha that lived in a lake. Yudhishtir was asked by the Yaksha what the most incredible thing in the world was and he correctly replied that despite being mortal humans still act as if they would live forever.
One of the stories from the Mahabharata illustrates how death comes to everyone, no matter the age group or socio-economic status. It features Yudhishtir who, while on a quest in a forest with his brothers, came across a lake where Death, in the form of a Yaksha, resided. The Yaksha warned Yudhishtir not to drink from the lake unless he could answer his questions correctly. One of these questions was ‘What is the most incredible thing in the world?’ Yudhishtir answered that it was how humans act as if they are immortal giving rise to a sense of carelessness even though death is inevitable for all.
People often seek out knowledge of when or how they will die out of a desire to avoid it. However, predicting the time of death is very difficult in astrology, as it depends on the alignment of many different planets in the natal chart. These planets include Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and the Sun. Astrology can only predict possible events that may or may not occur. By observing these planetary placements along with Dasha system as well as in conjunction with the Sun in a person’s natal chart an astrologer can arrive at an estimate for when death may come but cannot precisely forecast this event.
Does the heavens affect our time of death?
Astrologers believe that death is affected by the stars and planets as they move through the sky. For example, a person’s eighth house in astrology is associated with their longevity and life expectancy, and can be used to make predictions about when a person may pass away. Additionally, the overall energy of “death” in the form of transiting planets can be seen in a natal chart. When these energies combine with aspects in an individuals personal birth chart, it can provide insight into how they will handle the events leading up to their death, and whether they may face any unexpected end of life surprises.
The different types of predictions made in astrology
In astrology, predictions can range from general overviews of life events to specific dates of change and death. Astrologers can make predictions about when a person may start or end a job, marry, move cities, have children as well as when they may pass away. Certain planetary positions can offer more information on how a persons life might unfold – for example if Saturn takes an active role in their chart it is associated with hard work and challenges that will need to be overcome in order for happiness to manifest.
What can we learn from death predictions in astrology?
Astrological predictions of death can provide insight into how we should approach our lives, the choices we make and how to better understand the life and death process. Understanding death in general allows us to live in the present moment with more focus, appreciation and joy. Knowing astrology can give us an insight into the key moments that could lead to changes in our life or a timely passing, which can ultimately help us prepare for them.
